AN Easter Ross attack by a dog on a postal worker has triggered an appeal from the police.

The incident happened this week in Tain.

Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward after a report that a postal worker was attacked by a dog on the town's Mansfield Estate.

The incident happened at about 10am on Tuesday.

Police did not give details of whether any injuries were sustained.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has information that could help is asked to contact Police via 101 quoting incident number 0506 of 28/04/2021.
