A ROSS-SHIRE community centre has welcomed a grant enabling it to revamp some of its furniture and to create an outdoor learning space.

Strathpeffer Community Centre said it was excited to announce it had been successful in its funding application to the Foundation Scotland Response Fund.

It said: "This will go towards replacing all of our old material chairs through out the centre for wipeable versions.

"We will also be able to purchase a large gazebo for an outdoor learning space. We are grateful to be able to do this as it will enable us to reopen safely and with covered outside options, when the lifting of restrictions allow.

"We will keep you updated and pop up some photos when we have some!"
