Cash raised at Dingwall Primary's Christmas market today set to boost children's experience at school

A ROSS-SHIRE primary school has issued an open invitation to its Christmas market today.

The Dingwall Primary School event runs on Saturday from noon to 2pm.

The school posted: "Please come along and support this lovely, festive event with an emphasis on sustainability. Bring along your own cup for hot chocolate and a bag for life for your purchases. The annual Christmas raffle will also be drawn which have some amazing prizes."

Money raised from raffle tickets "is vital to help enhance our children’s experience at school", it said.

It said that most recently, £10,000 had been raised to add to the playground equipment available "which has been a big hit with the children".

It said: "As always, your support is very much appreciated."
