A fundraising stovies and quiz night will raise funds for a lifesaving lifeboat crew - but eager participants are being urged to sign up quick as spaces are going fast.

The RNLI's Kessock crew will be holding their stovies and quiz night in North Kessock Village Hall on Friday, November 3 from 6.30pm to 10pm.

Teams of up to eight people are being encouraged to sign up, with entry being £15 per person.

The evening will see stovies and oatcakes served at 7pm, with the general knowledge quiz then running from 7.30pm to 10pm.

Participants will also get the chance to enjoy a half-time raffle, and there are team prizes up for grabs.

To reserve tickets or for more details, call Micky Jones on 07534 768550.

"We are down to the last few team spaces being available," said a spokesman for the RNLI. "Get in touch with Micky to secure your place!! It’s going to be a great night."

Participants should bring their own bottle and table snacks.

The RNLI crew would also like to thank the North Kessock Hotel and Harry Gow for their support.
