Owner of care home in Ullapool, Wester Ross plans to hold recruitment drive; the push by Highland and Moray care home operator Parklands Care Homes will take place next week

THE new owners of a Wester Ross care home are set to embark on a staff recruitment drive, they have announced.

Parklands Care Homes is to hold a recruitment drive in Ullapool as it gears up to take ownership of the largest care home in the village.

Grantown based Parklands is to the acquire the Mo Dhachaidh care facility which cares for up to 21 older people.

Parklands says it expects to complete the acquisition and registration process in the coming weeks, and further details will be issued in due course.

In the meantime, the care operator – which has nine other homes around the Highlands and Moray – will hold an open day for prospective employees on Wednesday, August 3 at the Macphail Centre (Dundonnell Room), Mill Street, Ullapool from 11am until 6pm.

The drop-in event is also open to anyone who would like more information about care facilities at Mo Dhachaidh.
