Dingwall Camera Club puts prizewinners in picture as awards snapped up

SHARPSHOOTERS attending a Ross-shire camera club enjoyed a moment on the other side of the lens as they lined up for a souvenir prizewinners' shot.

At Dingwall Camera Club’s annual prize-giving, awards were handed out in a variety of categories.

Brian Alexander and Mark Janes were joint first in Colour Prints Advanced Section. Pat Smith took first in Creative Mono in Annual Competition. Willie Skinner was top in Pictorial PDI in Annual Competition. Sander MacDonald was runner-up in Landscape Colour Prints in Annual Competition. Keith Barnes was joint first in the Colour Prints Advanced Section.

Joyce White was highly commended on Portraiture in Annual PDI Competition. Iain Cathro was top in Mono Prints and Colour Prints General Section. Donnie Smith and Bozena Kalejta-Summers were named Joint Photographers of the Year. Andrew James was Joint first in PDI General Section. John Simpson was third in Colour Prints and PDI in Annual Nature Competition.

The club meets on Mondays from September to April and welcomes new members.
