Road sign damaged after bus and van collide on the A832 near Munlochy

Police were called after a bus and a van collided on the edge of the Black Isle village of Munlochy.

The incident happened at around 2.30pm this afternoon.

A Police Scotland spokesman confirmed the two vehicles were involved and the road was partially blocked as a result.

No one was hurt.

Robbie Thwaites, a 55-year-old community carer from Avoch, was driving his vehicle at the time and witnessed the incident. He said: "I was thinking this junction is a nightmare."

He said the bus hit a road sign after the initial collision.
