A SPOOKTACULAR Halloween event will be back this October to get people of all ages in the mood for trick or treating.

The Night at the BOOtanics experience is set to return to Inverness Botanic Gardens from October 26 to October 30 this year.

Organised by Highland Council’s Inverness Events and Festivals Working group and supported financially by the Inverness Common Good Fund, the family night sees the popular city attraction turned into an immersive light and projection experience bringing the plants, gardens and unexpected features to life through the garden’s very own Trick or Treat Trail.

The Chair of the City of Inverness Events and Festivals Working Group, and Provost of Inverness, Councillor Glynis Sinclair, said: “We are delighted that the Halloween experience ‘The Night at the Bootanics’ is returning this year.

“Halloween is for all members of the family, and we hope to see lots of people come along over the five nights to see the transformation of the gardens.

“We’d love to see as many people as possible dress up this year, and enter into the spirit of this year’s Halloween in the city."

Councillor Sinclair added: “Halloween is the first event of our City of Inverness Events & Festivals Winter Programme for 2022. We are grateful that inclusive family events, such as these are made possible through the financial support of the Inverness Common Good Fund.”

Free tickets will be available through an online link on High Life Highland’s website: highlifehighland.com that will go live at 10am on Friday October 14.

This years’ experience has also received financial support from Event Scotland’s National Event Programme.
