It is time to get your glad rags out, and dancing shoes on as Ross County is bringing back its annual Gala Dinner and dance!

Having taken a hiatus due to the pandemic, the event on Friday, March 24 is returning in style with a three-course dinner at the Kingsmills Hotel, which is not to be missed.

Held in order to celebrate the achievements of the business throughout the year, the night is shaping up to be a party, with Rhythmnreel leading the tunes into the wee hours for a good old fashioned knees-up.

Entertainment will be provided by comedian, Patrick Rolink, also known as The Big Man From Perth.

Lorraine Christie, commercial manager at Ross County is looking forward to the show-stopping night, and the entertainment that is going to be provided at the soiree. She said: “The food and drink at the Kingsmills is delicious so we can guarantee it is going to be an excellent night.

“Patrick’s larger than life character coupled with the warmth of his personality has made him a favourite with audiences the length and breadth of the country. We’re really excited about having him with us, and he is sure to bring a big dose of comedy to the party!

“It’s also great to have local band Rhythmnreel with us for the first time at the event. It is definitely going to be an energetic night of dancing to good music!”

The evening will also provide an opportunity to raise funds for the Ross County Foundation, which supports those in need in communities across the Highlands and Islands. An auction will be held so guests have the chance to bid on a variety of luxury prices.

This will be led by the exuberant host for the evening, Alex Fleming.

“Alex is no stranger to the north of Scotland as he is one of the UK’s leading event hosts”, Lorraine said.

“Alex’s unique, energetic, lively and fun auction style will guarantee that this will be one of the highlights of the evening and will hopefully maximise funds raised for the Foundation.

“We’re also looking forward to a game of Hit or Miss which always gets people’s competitive sides out!”

Tickets for the event cost £100 per person, or £1000 for a table of 10. Smaller numbers can be accommodated on shared tables.
