A REPORT will be sent to the procurator fiscal following the sudden death of a woman in Easter Ross.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of the sudden death of a 22-year-old woman at a property on Jubilee Drive in Tain around 5.50am on Sunday, May 8.

“Emergency services attended and a 33-year-old man who was also within the property was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness for treatment and later released.

"The death is being treated as unexplained and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal in due course.”
