A QUIRKY video collaboration by women attending a Scottish Women's Institute branch down south is inspiring colleagues in Ross-shire.

The coronavirus lockdown period has inspired all manner of creative responses from individuals, schools and interest groups unable to carry out business as usual.

This has included a number of video projects which manage to bring people together – even in isolation.

A pancake-making video created by members of Luss SWI, near Loch Lomond, has been shared by the Ross-shire Federation of SWI which told members: "Had to share this fantastic video by Luss SWI. How marvellous."

The Ross-shire Federation includes 18 institutes from across the county.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, many of its members have volunteered their help to a variety of local efforts.
