Statistics released today say that if every Scot used one single-use face mask every day for a month, it would weight the equivalent of Glasgow's famous Titan crane. Environmental groups say the damage caused will last for years. A call to people to opt for good quality, reusable face coverings has been backed by several groups including Zero Waste Scotland and the Marine Conservation Society.
