POLICE are set to offer motorcycle safety courses in Easter Ross and Inverness this autumn - and places are still available.

The force's one day 'Rider Refinement' motorcycle safety courses will be held in Invergordon on Sunday, September 15, and Inverness on September 22 and October 6.

"Part funded by Transport Scotland's Road Safety Framework Fund, the course is led by police motorcyclists and promotes safe riding and involves demonstration rides and filmed rides with feedback from officers afterwards," said a police spokesman.

The cost of the course is £40 to cover costs and lunch.

To book a place on the course email operationriderrefinement@scotland.pnn.police.uk
