Police are appealing for information after a vehicle was vandalised in Tain last weekend.

Enquiries are ongoing after a blue Vauxhall van was damaged on Knockbreck Road at around 9.30 on Saturday, December 2.

Police are particularly interested in speaking to the driver of a grey Volkswagen van which may have been in the area.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Police are appealing for information after a van was damaged in Tain.

"The incident, which saw a blue Vauxhall van damaged, happened around 9.30am on Saturday, December 2, 2023 on Knockbreck Road.

"Enquiries are ongoing and officers are keen to speak with the driver of a grey Volkswagen van that may have been in the area at the time.

"Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference 1045 of 02/12/2023.

"Alternatively, information can also be passed anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
