Police ask for public's help in search for Highland heirlooms; Missing ring understood to be worth £20,000

Police in the Highlands and Islands are asking for help to find two pieces of jewellery that have been stolen from a property in the Highlands.

A jewel–encrusted gold ring worth £20,000 and a pair of earrings worth £4000 were taken from Muirtown House on Charleston Place in Inverness.

It is believed the items were taken between April 20 and May 5, 2021.

A police spokeswoman said: "Police are looking for any information regarding a theft that may have taken place between April 20, 2021 to May 12 2021 where an expensive ring costing £20,000 and earrings costing £4000 were taken from a property at Muirtown House, Charleston Place.

"If these items have been seen or any information please contact Police on 101 stating PS-20210512-225."
