Police appealing for information after fuel stolen from Highland Council vehicles in Alness

Police are appealing for information after a theft at The Highland Council Roads Depot in Alness.

Four Mercedes trucks had approximately £400 worth of fuel siphoned from their tanks at Teaninich Industrial Estate.

The incident took place between 5.10pm on January 24 and 6am on January 25.

A police spokesperson said: "Anybody with any information is encouraged to contact us on101, quoting crime reference CR/0029417/24. Alternatively information can be given 100 per cent anonymously to CrimeStoppers."
