Police launch Caithness plea over missing Nottinghamshire man who is known to have travelled north from Inverness on the Far North Line

POLICE have appealed for help tracing a missing OAP who was last seen in the Highlands.

Jago Ashwell (74), has been reported missing from Nottinghamshire, but was last known to have travelled by train on the Far North Line on Monday.

A police spokesman said: "We are appealing for assistance from the community in Caithness with tracing Jago Ashwell (74), who is last known to have travelled from Inverness to Caithness by train on Monday.

"If anybody has seen Jago, or has any information that may help our enquiries, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us on 101, and use reference PS-20230926-0146."
