POLICE have appealed for information after "extensive damage" was caused to a supermarket's windows in Easter Ross.

The damage was caused to the Lidl on Dalmore Road, Alness, sometime between February 6 and 7, said police who issued the appeal this morning (Tuesday).

"Entry wasn't gained to the shop but extensive damage has been caused," said a police spokesman.

Anyone with information should call police on 101 quoting reference NE/620/21.
