Police appeal after copper pipe theft from property in Tain

Police are appealing for information after copper pipe was stolen from inside a property in Tain last Thursday.

Officers say they wish to speak to anyone who may have been in the area, or anyone who may have camera footage, situated near Duthac House on Academy Street on Thursday, March 28.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “We are appealing for information following a theft at Duthac House, Academy Street, Tain.

“On Thursday, March 28, 2024 the property was entered and a quantity of copper pipe was taken from within.

“We would be keen to speak with anyone who has information on this, or if you were in the area at the time and may have seen anything or anybody suspicious.

“Similarly, if you own a property with CCTV nearby we would urge you to review this incase your CCTV has captured anything.

“Anyone with information can contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 2459 of March 28, 2024.”
