PARENTS of pupils at a Lochalsh secondary school will tomorrow receive details of plans for the return to classrooms next week.

Plockton High School says it is working to get everything ready for the return next week.

Schools in Highland Council closed in March in line with coronavirus crisis lockdown guidance.

Pupils have been learning remotely from home since then under a new digital hub system devised by Highland Council.

The situation also meant exams being cancelled.

Plockton rector Susan Galloway says that with just a few days of the summer holiday left, staff are working to everything ready for the return to classrooms, starting on Wednesday next week across the region.

All parents will receive a letter by email tomorrow confirming details, the school said today.

"We are really looking forward to seeing pupils back in school and thank all parents for such tremendous support over the past months."
