Highlands police plea for help after a spate of vandalisms in Strathpeffer causing damage to public toilets and to its iconic band stand near the pavilion

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a spate of vandalism in Strathpeffer.

Damage was caused to the iconic band stand near Strathpeffer Pavilion as well as to public toilets at the railway station and in The Square.

A police spokeswoman said: "Between Friday November 5 - Sunday November 7 2021 a series of vandalism's took place in the Strathpeffer area.

"The public toilets within the railway station, the public toilets within The Square and the band stand near to the pavillion were all damaged.

"If you have any information about this crime you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at crimestoppers-uk.org. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court."
