AN Easter Ross primary school has paid tribute to its parent council for a generous boost for its pupils.

Park Primary Parent Council bought new playground equipment for the school's pupils.

This has allowed the school to create class sets of bats, balls, skipping ropes and hula-hoops along with large sets of games such as snakes and ladders and Jenga.

These are being rotated around classes on a weekly basis – with quarantine measures in between in line with coronavirus guidance.

The school said the equipment has helped to engage the children whilst outdoors, adding: "A big thank you from all of us."
