Grab a pizza the Stoltman action and leave Invergordon lifeboat heroes on crest of a wave

SUPPORTERS of voluntary lifesavers in an Easter Ross town are being encouraged to grab themselves a slice of a very special pizza inspired by two of its most famous inhabitants.

RNLI Invergordon Lifeboat relies on donations from well-wishers and its own fundraising efforts to maintain the 24/7 service it offers anyone in peril on the sea.

The ways in which supporters have worked to raise funds are many and varied, ranging from sponsored challenges to (toy) pig racing.

One of the most appetising, however, is the purchase of a Stoltman Pizza, inspired by the world's strongest brothers, Tom and Luke.

They were last year enlisted by Sutor Creek across the water in Cromarty to create their own powerhouse pizza – and as you might expect, it packs a real punch!

The good news for pizza lovers is that a donation from every one sold will be shared with the Invergordon lifeboat team.

RNLI Invergordon is reminding its supporters of the sweet deal. It posted: "Within the banks of Cromarty Firth, we have four massive powerhouses, the Shannon Class Lifeboat RNLI 13-37 Agnes AP Barr, the world strongest brothers Luke "The Highland Oak" Stoltman and Tom "The Albatross" Stoltman and the insane talents from Sutor Creek Cafe, take-away and deli who have created a tastebud sensation in the Stoltman Pizza!

"Every pizza will not only fill you up but will help RNLI Invergordon Lifeboat save lives with the amazing team at Sutor Creek giving a donation from each pizza! What are you waiting for…"
