An allotment trail has concluded a summer-long programme of activities at the Eastgate Shopping Centre in Inverness.

A total of 45 children, accompanied by parents, sought out hidden fruit and vegetable clues in the Little Allotment Centre Trail.

Kirstin Gault, the centre’s digital and marketing executive, said: "It was great to see so many little shoppers involved in the free summer activity."

This summer’s activities have focused on being more environmentally-friendly.

Ms Gault added: "Although our Summer Kids Club has now come to an end, a date for the diary is Saturday, October 30 – we look forward to sharing more hair-raising details in due course about our Halloween Spooktacular event."
