Armistice Day was commemorated at Ben Wyvis Primary School with each class making their own wreath to be laid in the newly made Garden of Remembrance beside the nursery.

Morrison Construction designed and created a new memorial garden for the school and communities of Maryburgh and Conon Bridge after it had to relocate the garden when the school extension was built.

The first service of remembrance in the new garden was attended by councillors Angela Maclean, Sean Kennedy and Graham MacKenzie, as well as Laura Burns from Highland Council, Steven Stewart and Ali McCorquodale of Morrisons; local ministers, Alec Stewart and Stephen MacDonald; and Tony Innes and Tom Thomas from the community.
