Ross County Football Club hosted a home fixture with a difference at the weekend in the run-up to the festive season.

A Christmas market at the Global Energy Stadium scored with visitors keen to support local businesses and get the festive shopping under way.

Fittingly the initiative came during Small Business Saturday and attracted more than 30 stalls plus additional food options outside.

Ironically it really was the only game in town for Staggies' fans as the club's away fixture with St Johnstone in Perth was postponed at very short notice after a pitch inspection.
