A Dare to be Different day staged by a Ross-shire primary went down a treat with pupils who relished the opportunity.
Ben Wyvis Primary in Conon held its special event last Friday.
For a donation of 50p per dare, pupils were invited to choose from an enticing list which included fancy dress, temporary tattoos, nail poloish, bright clothes, bright make-up and crazy hair.
The Ben Wyvis Primary Parent Partnership even offered the opportunity for adventurous pupils and teachers to select all six!
The only instruction on the day was "normal school rules apply, have fun and be yourself!"
