More fire crews have been sent to the scene of a blaze near the Highland capital.

Thick black smoke and flames were spotted pouring from the former Norbord plant, at Dalcross, which is now part of West Fraser, earlier this afternoon.

The alarm was raised at 3.41pm and a Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said there were now a total of seven appliances sent to the scene.

He added they were from: Inverness; Nairn, Invergordon; Dingwall and Forres.
