Celebrations to mark the 10th anniversary of a Highland charity to champion young people with learning disabilities have raised £12,000.
The Elsie Normington Foundation marked the milestone with a dinner and dancing at the Kingsmills Hotel in Inverness.
The charity is behind the £4.1 million Haven Centre in Smithton which is set to have its official opening in August.
It will be Scotland’s first multiple-purpose centre for children and young people with learning disabilities and complex needs – and is regarded as a facility for the whole of the Highlands.

During the celebrations, the foundation announced its first patron, Elizabeth Mackintosh, a well-known and respected Highland businesswoman.
She and foundation chairwoman Elsie Normington cut a special cake. There were also filmed messages of congratulations from individuals and organisations.
Donations given during the evening were matched by Highland Industrial Supplies.
The guest speaker was renowned self-taught cook and food writer Lady Clare Macdonald.
