PICTURES: Highland business leaders generate thousands for Maggie's cancer care at SCDI awards

Business leaders have been thanked for their generosity towards cancer care charity Maggie's at the SCDI awards in Inverness.
The cause was the nominated charity for the event at the Kingsmills Hotel, where the region's centre fundraising manager Andrew Benjamin told the audience of around 300 people how important its work was for the emotional and psychological aspects of living with cancer.
The audience was also shown a moving short video providing insight from those involved as well as patients.
Mr Benjamin said: "Maggie’s Highlands are thankful to the SCDI for selecting them to be the nominated charity of the awards. The generosity of everyone in attendance was incredible raising £4030 for Maggie’s Highlands. Thank you to everyone who donated, your support is appreciated.”
