To mark Random Acts of Kindness Day 2022, which fell on Thursday, Highland baker Harry Gow decided to share some kindness – and some cake – with Highland and Moray organisations which set a good example every day.

Branches as far apart as Dornoch and Keith donated a jumbo sized version of its signature creation, the Harry Gow dream ring, to deserving Highland and Moray recipients, from hospitals and care homes, to charity workers, ambulance staff, animal sanctuary volunteers and others who help make the community a better place.

Director Fraser Gow said: “We’re so grateful for all the incredible organisations that work so tirelessly for the community, so we’d like to help make their dream(ring)s come true for a day with what we do best – cake!

“Each of our shops has chosen an organisation to give a giant dream ring as a wee token of our appreciation for everything they do for the local community.”
