The school posted its “huge thanks” to Black Isle Cares, High Life Highland, HLH Youth Development team, CALA Nursery, staff and pupils at Fortrose Academy “and everyone for coming along!”
It said afterwards: “Fantastic lunch, chat, singing and even a visit from Santa!”
The event is run in partnership with the community library, Black Isle Cares and Black Isle Youth Development. It features carols, a Santa visit “and young and old alike having a wonderful time”.
The Black Isle secondary has been involved in a number of such initiatives, including regular board game sessions with seniors in the community.
It has also established links with the nearby Eilean Dubh care home operated by Parklands.
