AN Easter Ross festival allowing judo players the chance to experience competition attracted almost 100 young players.

Invergordon Judo Club hosted players from Alness and Evanton Judo Club, Northern Judo Club, Highland Budokan, Elgin Judo Club and Tayside Judo Club.

These events help condition the players to large crowds and experiencing competition surroundings with officials and timekeepers.

ICJ's Kerry Russell said: “The judo players certainly evaluated their skills against each other and every fight saw amazing judo on display! Invergordon Judo Club prides itself on being able to host this event free of charge to the players in the Highlands and surrounding regions. We can provide this event free through the voluntary committee working hard on fundraising.”
