The Dingwall Rotary Club’s annual Great Feil Maree street fair has once again been hailed as a great success with hundreds of people attending throughout the day to enjoy the stalls and the sunshine.

Among the stalls were there was a look back at the past from the Dingwall Community Council and the Seaforth Highlanders Association.

Others offered the choice of crafts and refreshments or showed their efforts to create the Peffery Way path linking Strathpeffer and Dingwall.

There was a classic car gathering as well with rare Rovers, Jaguars, Vauxhalls, MGs and even a range of Ford Escorts from the 1980s.

Club president Brian Liddle said: “I think it was a great success and we were particularly fortunate that with the weather.

“It was a great effort from those who turned out and set-up the stalls and think the public really enjoyed themselves.

“Year on year I think the entertainment has been improving and it was particularly good to see local musicians take to the stage and prove their skills.”
