Work has started to create a coronavirus test facility for key workers at Inverness Campus.

The drive-through unit will be located in a car park at Inverness College UHI.

It will operate initially on a pilot basis, from Sunday, as an appointment-only facility for NHS staff and other key workers.

Tests will be self-administered.

Inverness already has a drive-through testing facility at Raigmore Hospital and a coronavirus assessment facility at the Mackenzie Centre in Culduthel Road.
