THE return of a Black Isle pumpkin parade proved to be a super success at the weekend.
There were more than 90 entries following the invitation issued by the popular Rosemarkie Amenities Beach Café.
The event traditionally unleashes a torrent of creativity among participants with some weird and wonderful efforts and this year was no exception.
There were six categories: most creative; most spooky; traditional neeps; unusual vegetable; special award and overall champion.
The last busy pumpkin parade was in 2019.
Members of the public hailed the “fantastic creativity” of participants and thanked organisers.
Rosemarkie and Amenities Association has meanwhile confirmed the bonfire and fireworks will take place on Saturday, November 5 from 6.30pm.
The beach café posted: “This is a community event organised by volunteers. The sales from all
stands around the beach café, from refreshments and items sold, fund this event. Please look out for and purchase from official stands in order to support this event.”
