More than 160 adult and young carers got their skates on to have a really “ice time” at a Highland charity’s big Christmas bash.
Dingwall-based Connecting Carers put on the party at Inverness Ice Centre.
Adults were able to take part in taster sessions for curling and skating, with wheelchair access to the rink available too.
They were also able to enjoy sessions in arts and crafts, laughter yoga and Essential Ying Yoga with essential oils.
Young carers enjoyed being on the ice en masse and also had the choice of going upstairs for hot chocolate, shots in the photo booth, arts and crafts and a chat with Santa.

It was attended by Maree Todd, the Minister for Public Health, Women’s Health and Sport.
