A MAGICAL winter wonderland has been created on the Black Isle for a fifth year.

The attraction at Wildwoodz has been providing plenty of festive fun for all ages, with children taking part in workshops to write letters to Santa before posting them in the special postbox.

Elves have also been on hand to help the fun and forest paths have been lit up and decorated, with visitors enjoying hot drinks around a fire before meeting a herd of real life reindeer on site.

Many of the time slots for the attraction were fully booked as people looked forward to a more normal Christmas this year.

Organisers were also pleased that they were able to bring the event back in a more normal form as last year had posed significant challenges due to coronavirus restrictions which among other issues saw fewer performers available to add to the sense of festive occasion.
