BUDDING young artists let their imaginations run riot at a well-received event on the Black Isle.

Black Isle Youth Development hailed a highly successful two-two session with artist Tommy Keyes working in partnership with Cromarty Arts Trust and Cromarty Youth café.

The Victoria Hall park was turned into a free outdoor art gallery as young people came up with their own creative graffiti art on special boards.

The works were created at junior and senior sessions held last week.

Youth development officer Wanda Mackay said: “Young people will get their art works home after the exhibition period.

“We are getting great feedback and hope all our residents and visitors love the graffiti boards.

“I am very proud of them and Tommy the artist was brilliant.”

Lisa Mackay later posted: “It was lovely seeing these being created but also to see them displayed all around the park fence in the afternoon – very talented Tommy but also very talented kids. Well done!”
