A NEW resident has been making an appearance in North Kessock.

And he looks kind of familiar...

Where's Wally, the red and white clad bespectacled cartoon character, has been spotted in various locations around the Black isle village, thanks to a resident artist.

Sophie Robb, who owns Sophie Robb Art, is more used to capturing famous people on her canvas and in sculptures turned to Wally to bring a bit of fun around the village.

Inviting people to search for the character around the village, Ms Robb said: "Where’s Wally has arrived in North Kessock!

"I recently made Wally and I’ve decided to hide him about the village for people to search for.

"I’ll move him to a new location in the village every week so see if you can find him!"

Villagers have been getting behind the initiative, posting photos of themselves next to Wally when they find him.

Ms Robb's own artwork sees her put her own slant on some famous faces, ranging from Jurgen Klopp to Marcus Rashford and Harry Kane.

She's also done a number of the Lord of the Rings characters.
