A whopping £20,000 windfall is winding its way to charity after a hugely successful formal dinner.
The Drumossie Hotel played host to a special sports dinner in aid of Marie Curie on Friday night – and a host of well known figures from the world of sport and commentary were among those in attendance.
Highlights from the evening included Danny MacAskill riding into the room on his bike and doing a couple of the jump stunts for which he is world famous.
Former Sky Sports – and current TalkSport – presenter David Tanner was also host at the black-tie event,

Jillian Walker, who helped to organise the event in aid of Marie Curie, said the evening proved to be a "great success", raising more than £20,000 – with more still coming in.
"Everyone really enjoyed the night," she added. "[We were] inundated with calls and messages the next day to say how good it was!"
She added that highlights included Danny MacAskill's riding skills, a performance by Ness Factor winner Joanne Ross with her song, a quick exhibition match from Helmsdale darts player and Scotland squad member Nick Denoon, and Rab Mulheron finishing off the night with a comedy set.
Other sporting stars within the room included Aiden and Ciaran Lennan (kickboxing champions), Scott Mackenzie (World Fly Fishing), former Ross County and Everton player Ross Jack, Women's SPL referee Molly Alexander, and Clach manager Conor Gethins – to name but a few.
The evening was organised by Marie Curie's Inverness and Ross-shire Fundraising Group.
