PICS: Another great day for Invergordon market

Handmade jewellery, vegan snacks, craft beers, gins and cocktails were among the tempting treats on offer at the latest Invergordon town market.

Held last weekend, other stalls sold chutneys, cheese and everything in between to delight the droves of buyers who turned out for the event in the town’s Natal Garden.

Altogether 18 stallholders turned out for the latest monthly market event providing a mix of taste sensations and stylish crafts for everyone to enjoy.

Participating businesses included Highland Fairy Doors, Culbokie Cake Fairies, Loch Ness Honey and Loch Ewe Sea Salt.

There was also a queue for the ever-popular Miele’s Gelateria ice cream truck throughout the day.

The next market is due to be held on Saturday, August 28, with organisers already looking forward to another great turnout.

The market is organised by Invergordon Development Trust, a local charity group formed to help with the regeneration of the Easter Ross town.

It has helped to stage a number of outdoor community markets and its members were also active during the coronavirus lockdown period.
