Peat and Diesel drummer is looking to give his drum kit to a deserving new home

Stornoway punk-folk band Peat and Diesel are looking to give away their drum kit to new home, for someone with a passion for music.

Peat and Diesel are a three-piece folk-punk band from Stornoway, with band members Calum 'Boydie' MacLeod, Innes Scott and Uilleam 'Uilly' Macleod.

The band formed over Saturday sessions at the band members' homes in Stornoway and they grew in popularity through exposure on social media.

Dummer of the band, Uilleam Macleod announced on social media that the drumkit is up for grabs, for a youngster with a keen in interest in the drums.

Uilleam said:"So, as some of you may have seen Peat & Diesel got a new drumkit this summer which means we have a pile of drums in cases sitting around needing a new home.

"We want to give them to a kid who may not get the chance to have their own kit or buy one but has always wanted to play drums. This is the original kit I was playing when this band started and is one I’ve owned for about 10 years.

"Message us on the P&D Facebook page and tell us what this would mean to to your child!"

The drum kit is a Tama superstar 5 piece kit, which retail for around £700–£1000.
