A POPULAR Scottish Opera highlights show is to visit an Easter Ross community.
A new vaudeville-inspired Opera Highlights tour being run by Scottish Opera will include Tain in its next tour.
The tour was scheduled for last year, but was halted due to the pandemic.
The event will take place in the Duthac Centre on February 17 at 7:30pm.
Now, lucky watchers will enjoy performances from Margo Arsane and Shengzhi Ren, as well as many more well-known names.
A range of music has been designed by Janis Hart, and inspired by the Edwardian era. Classics like Hansel and Gretel will be performed, as well as a selection of lesser known works.
It also contains the world premier of a new piece by composer Lucie Treacher, 'To the Lighthouse'.
Director, John Savournin, said: "There is a such a rich variety of repertoire in this season's Opera Highlights - Puccini to Operetta, to a newly-commissioned piece by up-and-coming Scottish composer, Lucie Treacher - and I'm so excited to create a fun, visual world full of performance magic."
