There has been one additional confirmed case of coronavirus in the Highlands in the past 24 hours, new figures have shown.
It takes the total registered by NHS Highlands to 378 – and comes after a full week without any recorded cases. The number of people being treated in hospital with confirmed Covid-19 is fewer than five, and so is the number of virus patients in intensive care.
A total of 23 more people have tested positive across Scotland in the last 24 hours, taking the national total to 18,445.
And 2491 people who tested positive have died across the country since the outbreak began – the same as yesterday.
Elsewhere in the north, NHS Grampian has had five new cases since yesterday, taking its tally to 1440. Its hospitals were treating 29 people for the disease, with fewer than five virus patients receiving treatment in intensive care.
