A Black Isle nursery which was forced to close on Wednesday after it lost its hot water is expected to reopen as normal tomorrow.

The nursery at North Kessock Primary was shut due to the loss of the hot water, but a spokesperson for Highland Council said the defect had been reported "and the nursery expects to reopen tomorrow as usual".

It was one of two nurseries shut on Wednesday.

Kiltearn Primary School Nursery in Evanton was also closed, this time due to staff absence.

The council spokesperson added: "The school will update parents and carers through usual channels."
