A woman who repeatedly makes nuisance calls to the 999 service appeared from custody at Inverness Sheriff Court and admitted another similar offence.

Sheriff Gary Aitken was told that 24 year old Elizabeth Gibson of Morganti Court, Dingwall made a batch of calls between February 6 and February 10 from her home.

Defence solicitor advocate Neil Wilson said his client was already on several community payback orders.

Before hearing the full facts, Sheriff Aitken deferred sentence until March 31, 2022 to discover the outcome of her other cases to call at Tain Sheriff Court later this year.

He released her on bail with the warning not to commit any more offences involving the emergency service.
