Report to fiscal following discovery of body of man in Ullapool

A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal following the discovery of a body in Wester Ross.

Emergency services recovered the body of the 26-year-old man in the Morefield area of Ullapool.

The police and air ambulance attended the incident.

They were alerted around 1.10pm on Thursday.

A police spokeswoman said: “Around 1.10pm on Thursday, August 5, police were called after the body of a 26-year-old man was discovered in the Morefield area of Ullapool.

“There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
