Nigg-Cromarty ferry to return to service on Cromarty Firth on June 1, Highland Ferries confirms

TOURIST businesses on either side of the Cromarty Firth will be celebrating after a popular summer ferry service confirmed its return to operation.
The Nigg -Cromarty ferry has been out of action as a result of the Covid-19 lockdown restrictions.
But with the easing of restrictions on Monday, the region’s hospitality and tourism businesses have been able to reopen their doors for the first time in 2021.
And Highland Ferries, which operates the Nigg-Cromarty ferry, has confirmed that the wait for its return to service is almost over.
The first crossings of the season will now begin on June 1.
