At a packed NFU Scotland roadshow in Dingwall, Jonathan Hogg from the Dingwall and Thurso offices, collected the Membership Flame.

That is NFU Scotland award that recognises outstanding efforts in recruitment and retention of members.

The award was announced in February at the Union’s online AGM but, due to covid restrictions, its presentation had been delayed.

NFU Scotland’s President Martin Kennedy (left) and the regional chair Cameron Maciver were delighted to present the award in person to Jonathan in front of more than 60 members.

Along with his colleague Graham Laing, Jonathan recruited 32 new members for the Ross-shire, Sutherland and Caithness branches in 2021 – an outstanding achievement made even more stunning given the challenges of working through Covid-19 restrictions.
